Our rule of thumb: if the app talks to special hardware (Bluetooth thermal printers, barcode guns, POS terminals), go Kotlin. Otherwise Flutter usually gives better value. See our Flutter app development company in Jaipur page for more.

Getting Your App on Google Play Without Rejections
Google Play has strict rules. Here's what to plan for:
1. Create the developer account in your company name. Organization accounts need a D- U-N-S number but avoid the closed-testing rule.
2. Closed testing for personal accounts. New personal accounts must test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before going live.
3. Target API level. Google requires apps to target a recent Android version and raises this every year. Old apps that aren't updated can get hidden from new users.
4. Privacy policy and Data safety form. Required for almost every app. They must match what your app actually collects.
5. Permissions. Ask only for what you need. Apps asking for SMS, call log or location without a clear reason get rejected.
6. Store listing. Clear screenshots, honest description, no misleading claims.
7. Upload as an Android App Bundle (AAB). Play requires AAB for new apps.

A no-code builder is fine to test an idea. For an app your business depends on, own the code and have a team behind it.
Example: An Order-Taking App for a Distributor
Here's how a typical project runs. (Illustrative example; see internal notes.)
A Jaipur FMCG distributor had 25 salespeople writing orders on paper and sending photos on WhatsApp. Orders were misread and billing took a full day.
- Weeks 1 to 2: Mapped the order flow, product list and price rules for each retailer type.
- Weeks 3 to 8: Built a Kotlin app with offline order entry, a retailer list with GPS check-in, and a web admin panel.
- Week 9: Trial with five salespeople on their own budget phones.
- Week 10: Rolled out to the full team, with orders flowing into the billing system.
Orders now reach the office the same minute they're taken, and billing errors dropped sharply.
